So What Wednesday

So it's Wednesday again and I'm linking up with Life After I Dew and saying So What If:

  • N starts kindergarten today and I'm not sure who was more excited him or me :)
  • I dropped him off in the room and I didn't share a tear. So proud of myself.
  • I'm already looking at his track out schedule so I can see about planning some trips when he is out in Oct and Jan.
  • I still don't get Netflix. We have it and the kids have watched some movies but I'm having trouble finding things for me to watch. I think I watch way to much regular tv so I've already watched what I'd want to on there.
  • this is a rambling short post today but we've been running errands all morning and I'm worn out.
That's my list today. What are you saying So What to this week?

Monday Morning Musings

Another weekend came and went and onto Monday.  We spent a good portion of the weekend outside playing.  N spent about 6 hours outside on Saturday and another 5 or so on Sunday.  He had a blast and loved playing with the neighbors before they start back to school. They are all a couple years older then him so they start back full time today.  Even C got into the outdoor playing which made for some long naps and a happy mommy.

M and I started watching Under the Dome this weekend. I'm really liking it and I love that it is filmed so close to me.  I can't wait to recognize something. I'm really bad about spotting things though until they really point it out. LOL  but I do know that its close so I'm sure we will see something that we know sooner or later.  I'm still working on starting Falling Skies. I haven't watched any yet so that will take some time before I get up to speed.

This is a big week for us as N starts Kindergarten on Wed.  He only goes the one day this week and then starts full time next week.  He is still really excited about this  but we'll see how long it lasts. :)  We also have to drop off the paperwork for C to start preschool.  He doesn't start until after Labor Day but I'm counting down to that.  I'll have about six hours a week without a boy with me. I have big plans of trying to go to the grocery store and maybe using my elliptical.  Of course if any of you want to plan a trip I'll do that first ;)

I don't think I'm expecting any boxes this week. I skipped Julep this month as I've been getting so many polishes lately.  I did buy the allure beauty box but I'm not sure when it is supposed to be here and I just placed a very large Stampin' Up order but I don't think it will make it to me this week. :(

So what are you up to this week? Did you have a good weekend?

Jenny

disclaimer: You got it. There are a couple of my links up there and you know the drill I get something if you order or join through me. As always just send me a message or write a comment if you have any questions.

Friday Phone Dump

Friday again and time for the Friday phone dump  with Jenn over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom.

This week has been pretty random and you'll see when you start looking at the pics.

We went to three different Targets this week and at the last one I found the coveted tubs.  I was beyond excited to find these and they were only $.59 each.  Made my long day yesterday all worth it.

N was digging in his closet and he found this shirt. It goes with a bathing suit that I got in a subscription box grab bag and he knows I'm not a fan of sleeveless shirts but he's been all about it.  He was so excited that he got to wear this this week.  Happy for him but this may have to be hidden when it comes out of the laundry ;)

N has a pen pal through one of my boards and he sent this package this week. We have been using this Star Wars cup all week and loves getting his little packages.  Do you all remember having pen pals when you were kids?  I remember having them and writing each month and loving it.

We finally cleaned up the toys off of the floor the other night so that the bug man could spray good and M vacuumed. That is my most hated chore ever and C has really latched onto it. Yesterday he got out his little vacuum and said "I daddy I clean" He vacuumed the whole downstairs with that thing. Hmm speaking of I need to see if it has an off switch.

I got a box of goodies from Disney this week :)  One of my clients is going to Disneyland this fall so I had to jump online and get some maps and activity books.  A box from Disney is always exciting to get. Let me know if I can get anything for you.

So that's my random week in photos.  Be on the look out next week when you know we will have First Day of School pictures.  Eeeeehhhh it might be starting to sync in now.

Friday Letters

Holy Moly it's Friday so must be time for Friday Letters.

Dear N - I love how excited you were that we went to your school yesterday. Lets keep this up for say the next 13 years when its time to go back.

Dear C - You are just so stinkin' cute all the time and those dimples don' t hurt at all.  You are going to be a heart breaker.

Dear Lego - Why must you make a clear lego? I'm pretty sure there is no need except to hide in my carpet for me to step on.

Dear GH - How could you have sucked me in so easily. I'm pretty sure I've watched every episode since I tried you out one day ;)

Dear Fall TV season - can you get here already? I've been catching up on my shows from last season and now I want the new ones to start like right now.

Dear Smores - Why are you so delicious?  Ever since the girls told me I could make them in the microwave I'm pretty much addicted and I could eat them all day and night long.

So those are my letters today. How about you?

Thursday Thoughts

Linking up for Thursday Thoughts with Jenn:

  • Just got a free trial of Netflix to try out and all the things I want to watch aren't available. Grr so annoying.
  • Still trying to decide what to send N in for his first day or school. He really has two first days since next Wed he goes for his evaluation day and then the following Monday is his actual teacher and class. I think he needs two outfits ;)
  • Its amazing how excited I get when I get mail. I really  need to start sending out more cards. I do make them so I need to actually mail them.
  • So we picked up the toys yesterday for the bug man to come. I wonder if we kept them picked up if we would have had to call the bug man out.  Stupid annoying ants.
  • Today is meet the teacher day at Ns school. He won't get to meet his actual teacher but we get to take them in to see a classroom and tour the school and stuff. At first they had said don't bring the kids and just come and do paperwork and now they say bring them. If we didn't take them today then N would have never been in a school before in his life.
  • N is really excited to start school.  I'm wondering how many years this will last. I also don't think he understands that he will not see the neighbor kids all day and that it is all day.  I think he thinks its like preschool which he loved and he'll be home after lunch.
  • My mom and stepdad at Niagara Falls for a little vacation. M and I went there as part of our honeymoon road trip so I'm thinking we need to take the boys back there at some point.  N will think it is really cool. Maybe wait a year or so so that C will like it too.
So those are my random thoughts for the day.  What are you thinking about?

Hautelook Summer Beauty Bag

My Hautelook Summer Beauty Bag came today and I couldn't wait to dig through it. Of course as things go I had a million things to do first so I'm just now looking at everything.  This was my first time ordering from  Hautelook and I can tell already that it can be addicting. They have different sales each day and it looks like they offer these bags every couple of months.  I will probably be getting another one to compare with this one when they come up for sale.

First look:
The bag is a decent size and I will add it to my collection. I like that this is see through so that whatever I put in there it will be easily identified. :)  Hmm I just had a thought that this one might make it into my scrapping bag. I can see putting goodies in here for when I head out with the girls.

Now onto the contents:

For some reason this picture will not rotate so you will have to look at it this way.
  • Urban Decay Lip Pencil in Naked - I like a good lip pencil for when I know I'm going to be out for awhile. I usually use it all over my lips and then gloss on top of it. I like this color as its not too bright and I can wear it alot of places.
  • NYX Lipstick in Vitamin - another good shade and a little sparkly.  I don't wear lipstick everyday so I'm always up for some sparkle.
  • Mirenesse Lip Bomb in color #27 - uhm WOW is all I can say for this. It is a neon shade and not one that I think I can pull off.  I've also gotten this brand before and it looks like a gloss but its pretty thick more like a lipstick if you ask me.

  • Miracle 10 AHA Cream - This says it rejuvenates skin with its rich, emollient cream to exfoliate dull skin.  Sounds interesting and I'll give it a try.
  • L'Occitane Dry Skin Hand Cream - Can you really have too many hand creams? I think not. I don't use them as much in the summer but in the dry winter I'm all over them.
  • Whish Orange Cream body butter - I've had the blueberry shave gel from this company before and it was amazing so I have high hopes for this one.

  • Lorac Special Effects Mascara in Black - this has a primer on one side and the mascara on the other. I'm just entering the realm of primers for all my makeup so this looks fun.
  • Lashfood Nano-peptide Natural EyeLASH Conditioner - I've never thought about feeding and strengthening my lashes so curious to see how this works. I have pretty dark and thick lashes now so not sure what this will do but I'm game to try.

  • Diptyque eau de toilette - first thought is that this is a little strong but its hard to tell how it will smell on without trying. I don't wear perfume alot since M always sneezes but I will add this to the rotation when I do.
  • TanTowel - Another item I've never tried but it sounds good to me. I don't tan outside since I've had two rounds of melanoma so if I want a little color it has to be artificial. I can't wait to try this on my legs to knock down the glare some ;)
  • BlowPro - I love love love when I get hairspray samples. I use a bit of spray everyday on my bangs and I love these small sizes for when I travel. This will go right in the travel bag.

  • L. Erickson Grab in Go Pony Compact - This is the cutest holder every. It really is like a small compact and pops open with 3 twisties in it.  So cute and I will toss this in my purse maybe it will help me locate a band when I need one.
  • Crown Brush travel brush set - I really need to clean out my brushes so these came at a good time.  With all the new goodies I keep getting in the boxes I'm going through some brushes.
So that's what was in my bag. The bag itself was $20 and then there was shipping on top of that.  There are alot of new to me items in there and I'm anxious to dig in and get to trying them out.  Are you interested in  Hautelook ?  Go over and take a look and then you will be ready when the next bag comes out.

Jenny

disclaimer: you guessed it my affiliate link is up there. If you go through my link and order something from them I will get some credits. :)

So What Wednesday

So it's Wednesday again and I'm linking up with Life After I Dew and saying So What If:

  • I just finally finished watching last season of Once Upon a Time.  Now I just want next season to start already.
  • I've been wanting to go to Comic Con for years and now its all trendy and I feel like I missed my chance.
  • It hasn't sunk in yet that N starts Kindergarten next week.  Really next week I will have a kindergartner  I'm waiting on the water works.
  • C and I have no real set plans for Aug while N is in school and before C starts preschool.
  • I spent a couple hours working on organizing my craft room yesterday and I'm not sure how much good it did :(
  • we decide to go to the pool today just so that I can hope for a 2 hour nap from C this afternoon.
  • I made watch 3 episodes of King & Maxwell last night so I could get my Christian Kane fix.
  • my oven still isn't fixed and I'm kindof over it.  We're crock potting chicken today for those that want to know.
So that's my list today what are you saying So What it?

Back to School List

So as I was talking to my friends the other day we were discussing our back to school lists and since this was my first year doing the shopping I'm curious what others are spending to get their lists complete.  N will be starting kindergarten next week so I printed off his list a couple weeks ago and went to Target to start my shopping.  I ended up getting everything except for the one item in those two trips.

As you can see we didn't have a ton of stuff to get but just what I think sound like basics.

Here is our list and breakdown:

  • backpack - we already have one that N wants to use but he did want a new lunchbox  - $7.19
  • 24 pk #2 wooden pencils, sharpened  - $2.00
  • 10 small glue sticks - 5 at $.30 each = $1.50
  • 1 roll blue painters tape - $3.69
  • 1 pair of over-the head headphones - these are what I still need to get. There is a note that says we can get these from Five Below
  • Scissors - $1.50
  • Box of tissues - grabbed this from my stash
  • 2 boxes if 24 count crayons - 2 at $.50 = $1.00
  • 1 pack dry erase markers $2.54
  • 2 primary composition notebooks - 2 at $.50 = $1.00
  • 1 pack copy paper - $3.50
  • Large erasers - $.50
  • 1 pack Crayola makers - $.99
  • 2 containers of disinfecting wipes - 2 at $1.84 each - $3.68
  • sandwich bags - $2.69
So a grand total of $33.93.  I don't think that its too bad this year but I know as the years go on it will get bigger and bigger and bigger and cost more and more and more.  So how was your list this year?  Are you having trouble finding anything?

Citrus Lane July 2013 Review

Very excited that our Citrus Lane box came late last week.   Citrus Lane is a box that sends items for your kids each month for $25. If you use my link you will get $10 off your first box and I will get a $10 credit into my account. :)  I get this box for C each month and I have him aged up so that we have goodies to move into. This month he got the 33 month old boy box.

First look in the box and this box was pretty heavy this month which I always like.  Oh and if you are getting gifts from me you  might recognize this tissue paper ;)  I have been reusing as much of my packages as possible and this is so bright and cheery I love it.
So peeled away the tissue and got a first look at the contents.  I had of course peaked at the spoilers but I am still excited to get ours each month and lay my hands on them.

This month didn't disappoint. Citrus Lane doesn't have themes every month anymore but I would say this is a back to school kindof box.  C will be starting preschool this fall and N is starting kindergarten so these items will really get some use.  And now onto the goodies:

  • Bynto by Goodbyn - This is a great three section bento box.  N has been taking another box that we had gotten from them last fall for lunch bunch at his preschool so I know we will use this one this year too.  I'm thinking that I might need to get some more of these so that both boys can have one.
  • Dishwasher-safe Sticker Set from Goodbyn - we didn't get the stickers the last time so I'm excited for these.  I'm thinking we will pull both boxes out and let them go to town.
  • Cool It Buddy Instant Cold Packs by Me4Kidz - I've actually never used one of these and at first I thought it was something to keep in the freezer but nope this is an instant pack that I can take wherever we go. I'm tossing this in our car bag so that we have ice on the road in case we get a booboo while playing and face it I have two very monkey like boys so that is sure to happen :)
  • Lace & Trace from Melissa and Doug - I love this activity and we actually have it at my mom's house already. N thinks its great and I'm sure C will grow into it too. I'm going to stash this one away for him in a couple months when we need some fun activity to do.
  • Mighty Shield Bug Repellent from Episencial - I am the bug magnet in my family.  They find me and munch away so I'm very excited to try this out.  I do love Episencial products that I've gotten samples of before so this is already by my back door waiting for me to head outside to play.
  • Also included was a certificate for some Postagrams from Sincerely,Inc for 10 free postcards.  I think we've gotten these before and I didn't use them so I'm going to make a point to use these this time.
So all in all a great month.  Did you get a Citrus Lane box this month? What was in your box?

Jenny

disclaimer: You've got it that is my link up there and as I said we both get something if you order through it.

Monday Morning Musings

Another weekend has come and gone and we are onto Monday again. I hope you all had a great weekend.  Mine was so much fun I got to scrap with my friends on Saturday and we went out for a little shopping fun on Sunday before spending the afternoon at home with my boys.

We had planned to eat at the food court at the mall today but when we walked in we saw a new restaurant that has a brunch and had bottomless mimosas. Yeap you guessed it I had to have a couple ;)
The restaurant was Tomato Pie and we will be going back. M got to have some waffles, the boys some delicious pizza and I had a portobella bruschetta panini. It was awesome!!!  Of course the whole reason we went to Crabtree today was so that I could go to the Disney Store and we only walked out with a small bag ;)

Since we hadn't planned to sit down and eat I hadn't brought alot for the boys to do. they love taking pictures and when they have your phone you get pictures like this.

Lets see what's on the bill for this week? Nothing really just hanging with my boys and we go to Ns school on Thursday to finish up his pre-school paperwork. His staggered entry day is next week and then I will officially have a Kindergartner. I'm so not sure how that could have happened.  WOW!!!

I'm not waiting for any boxes until next month so I'm in my dry spell. :( I did get my Citrus Lane last week and will be posting it soon. I hope to have some scrappy posts this week too.  I've been getting my mojo on and I need to start sharing it with everyone.

What are you up to this week? I hope whatever it is you have a great one!!!

Friday Phone Dump

Friday again and time for the Friday phone dump  with Jenn over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom.

I apologize now for those that have already seen these. I posted most on FB already this week and since I haven't really taken many photos I'm sharing again.  Also we're heading back to the pool this morning so no fancy collages. Sorry guys hopefully I'm back up and running next week.

I asked N to help me model his new clothes from the Sweet Pea Box and this is what I got. Still not sure what he was doing with his finger.
I came down Monday and C was sitting on Ms lap watching some tv.  I know M had to go to work but he was enjoying some lap time with our non-cuddling little boy.
So we are a little slack and never switched out our Topsy Turvy and with the crazy weather lately our strawberries are blowing again. Strawberry season has been over here for over a month so this was not expected. N is loving it though and we get about one strawberry he can eat each day. LOL

So that was it. Expect for pictures for my box reviews that all I've taken. Did you take more pictures this week?

Jenny

Friday Letters

Time for Friday Letters.

Dear boy who plays Sam on Mistresses (Erik Stocklin) - You look so much like Andrew McCarthy from back in the day that its unnerving. Why can I not see how you are related.  You must be.

Hmm Erik I know what you will look like when you grow up. Not too shabby. :)

Dear N and C - I really don't mind taking you to the pool in the mornings however you must eat something before we go. I know you're excited but food before swimming for a couple hours is a necessity. You just can't make it until lunch and we get home.

Dear C - In the same vein as above if two hours at the pool means you will take a two hour nap them we may be going to the pool more often. Even when N starts school in a couple weeks ;)

Dear Oven - I was unhappy when you broke and now I'm unhappy waiting for you to get fixed and get back to me.  I still think all meals I want to make sound like they need to be baked.

Dear Scrapbooking Companies - I know you are going to CHA but putting all these teasers on FB just makes me want the products now.  You all have some cute cute cute stuff coming out this fall.

Dear Blog Readers - Thank you so much for those that have clicked over and liked my Jenny @ Love the Mouse Facebook page. And thank you for sharing and liking my posts.  I love helping people plan Disney vacations and any other vacation they might want to take.  Any questions just send me a message I can talk travel all day long. ;)

Thursday Thoughts

Linking up for Thursday Thoughts with Jenn:

  • I think blogs need some kind of Like button. When I read a post I feel like I should say something to let them know I enjoyed it so I end up commenting on lots of blogs but if there was a Like button like on FB I could just click that as a way to say Good job and way to go.
  • Slowly been cleaning up my craft room.  Its not the easiest thing to do with my little helpers.  Wondering on a good way to get them to help without being too helpful. Any thoughts?
  • With Comic Con this weekend it means the fall season is upon us.  I need to get working on my TV chart so I know what kind of conflicts I'm going to have.  I love seeing all the new commercials and trying to decide if they will be good or not.  I guess I might have to wait until my EW issue comes with all the good tv info in it.
  • Just started back in with Once Upon a Time. I really like that show but it is a we show so getting M and I together to watch takes some work. For some reason both boys went up towards bed about 7 last night and we watched a couple episodes. I think we have like 8 more to go. Does anyone else watch?  Thoughts?  Are you going to try Once Upon a Time in Wonderland in the fall? I think its timing isn't going to work for me but I'll have to see when I make my chart.
  • Still trying to decide on a trip for Ns track out in Jan.  Cruise or Disney, Cruise or Disney, the decision is hard to make and N has a different opinion on any given day. I have friends thinking Disney so maybe I should join them. I think it would be fun to be there and run into people. We ran into our neighbors one day on our last trip and that was so fun.
  • OK people I understand why you picked Elissa the first week for MVP and yes I even get the second week but the third week? Really?  I'm wanting someone who will really cause a stir in the house. I think it would really be great if America voted for the person they thought was going to get kicked out as MVP. That will make for some more interesting viewing and I'm sure that's what CBS was hoping for.
So how is that for my randomness for today.  A little tv heavy this week but still all over there.  What are you thinking about this week? Any thoughts?

Jenny

So What Wednesday!!!

So it's Wednesday again and I'm linking up with Life After I Dew and saying So What If:

  • while watching Warehouse 13 I'm loving that Giles and Spike are reunited.  I love seeing the Buffy cast together on other shows and I love all the little inside references. Made me smile :)
  • in the last couple of weeks I've gotten four new polishes in my boxes and that's not counting my Julep box.
  • my house looks like toys threw up in it.  We've been too busy having a great summer to worry about it.  N starts school in 2 weeks we'll worry about it then. ;)

Well I think that's it. I'm drawing a blank on this post today and I've tried writing it three times already. LOL  I guess I don't have many So whats this week.

How is your week going so far? Are you going to link up?

Jenny

disclaimer: with my current addiction to polishes you know that I  had to have my link up there.

Ipsy July 2013

Look what was in my mailbox:

You know what that hot pink envelope means.  It's Ipsy time.  I get very excited for this bag every month as I use so many things out of it and it is my favorite beauty bag right now. Love Love Love it and this month is no exception.  I of course had peaked at all the spoilers but there were some either/or items this month and I couldn't wait to see which ones I would get.

Ipsy still does themed bags and this months theme was Beach Beauty. I think the little hot pink bag is very beachy and I will be tossing it in the pool bag to help corral some of those pool items. I should be able to find them in this bag pretty easily. :)  Now onto the rest of the loot:
  • Coola mineral sunscreen Rose essence tinted moisturizer - I've gotten a couple Coola samples lately but this is the first tinted one I've gotten. I'm all about a good moisturizer and since I always wear SPF I'm very excited to give this one a try.
  • Nicole by OPI in Pretty in Plum  - this polish was not in the standard bag and I got it for having some referrals (thanks guys!!) but let me just say I love it. I'm all about purple and this is nice and rich.  Also funny that it must be from the Selena Gomez collection and I'm currently obsessed with her new single.  Just see my Mistresses comment from this morning.
  • Nailtini in Mai Tai - yes another polish but I've gotten nailtini before and I really like their polishes. This is a deep coral color and very summery. I'm going to give it a try and if I don't care for it alone I know it will look great under some glitter.
  • POP pouty pop crayon in Coral Crush - let me say I've never used a lip crayon before but I've heard all good things and this looks fun. I can't wait to try it with a little of my favorite chap stick over it to make it really shine.  (and what is that you ask well Lipsmakers Dr  Pepper flavor of course;))
  • bhcosmetics California collection eyeshadow sample - loving the trio of colors and they are all things that I will use. This is so cute and easy to carry I'm tossing it right in my bag.
  • Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray - ok guys you know that I'm not big on hair items but you all tell me this stuff is awesome so I am going to try it out. I will let you know how it goes.
So overall another great month for Ipsy.  For those still wanting to know Ipsy costs $10 (plus tax if you live in NC or NY) and sends a cute little bag with samples in it each month. Did you get a bag this month? What goodies did you get?

Jenny

disclaimer: yeap that's my affiliate link and if you signup through my link then I will get more extra goodies in my next bag and I will be so so so happy. :)

Monday Morning Musings

WOW can you believe its Monday again already? The weekends go way to fast.  We had an uneventful weekend here. It was nasty and rainy on Saturday so we just stayed home and watched tv.

  • I finally watched the finale of Revenge. Does anyone else still watch it? I'm hooked and not sure why it took me so long to watch the last couple of episodes.

  • Then since I was home alone with the boys in bed and M working a concert I kept my girlie on and started watching Mistresses. I'm pretty sure I could get hooked on this show. It is smutty goodness. ;)  Is anyone else addicted to the song in the commercials for the show? I know its the new Selena Gomez song and I love it.  I've seen her perform it on a couple awards shows so far and its just as good then.

    • Wow Big Brother.  I'm just not sure what to say about these people.  Wow just Wow.  I haven't been keeping up with the off tv stuff this season yet  but from the TV shows I'm liking Howard and Helen so far.  I'll have to see how they play it out the next couple of weeks.
    • M headed to a house warming yesterday and I whipped up a My Paper Pumpkin card for him to put the gift card in. It was from the June box so be on the lookout for a post on that this week. ;)
Hmm so lets see what is on the horizon this week.
    • I need to look through the posts for deals on school supplies and work on getting the rest of Ns list.
    • I didn't get my Ipsy last week so it should be here this week and some people are getting their Citrus Lane boxes so I'll be on the look out for that too.
    • Scrapbooking at Archivers on Saturday so I need to start getting that stuff together and in that regard I need to finalize my new catty Stampin' Up order.  I've been a slacker but I keep seeing all these great projects with new stuff so I need to get my order in.
Over all not a busy week but I'm sure my boys will make it interesting.  What are you up to this week?

    Jenny

disclaimer: Yes there are some affiliate links up there. :)

    Sweet Pea Box July 2013

My Sweet Pea Box came today. If you don't know Sweet Pea Box is a relatively new kids clothing delivery service. They have choices ranging from $30-$50 a month depending on how many items you want to get. I choice the 4 item box for $30 this month to try them out.  They recently relaunched and accepted a lot of new people. You can also check out their Facebook page Sweet Pea FB Page to see some cute items that they have to send out.

Here is my bag from this month.

You can add notes to your file and I think I left mine pretty open. I didn't add any notes again this month but I did leave a message and they noted that I didn't need anymore swimsuits after the last couple of months. They also mentioned on a FB post I had about sending me matching shirts and asking if that was ok.  I said yes since my boys do love to match and I'm so glad that I did.

    • The two shirts are both Tiny Whales and N has already proclaimed them awesome
    • The shorts are both from Crazy 8 and probably nothing that I would have picked but both boys say they are really soft and go with their shirts. So they are a hit as well.
I asked N to help me model his new outfit and he was having fun with it.

I'm not sure what his finger was all about and he kept screaming pepperoni pizza. LOL But as you can see the clothes fit him great and he loves getting his outfit each month.

As before I plan to get more months and see what all we get.

    Friday Photo Dump

Friday again and time for a link up with Jenn over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom.  Not sure why but I didn't take many photos this week. Being just C and me we just hung out and relaxed more.

Have I told you before that I love Thursdays? That is the day my produce delivery comes and it is a highlight in my week.
I'm currently obsessed with nailpolish and I don't really like naked nails. After I took my Fireworks glitter polish off from the 4th I decided to try my new Sea Salt finish polish. This is Tracy from Julep and it came in the box I selected this month. I had used the Sea Salt finish before and liked it but didn't love however I had used a glossy top coat and I was told to try a matte.  What can I say I'm loving it with the matte top coat. You still get all the great texture and today makes a week and it still looks good.  Gotta love that!!!

The other day C finally fell asleep for his nap and when I looked on the monitor I couldn't see him. I had to go up and check and then I had to take a picture.  It reminded me of ET when  he's in with all the stuffed animals. LOL  I love sleeping babies. ;)

Here is my classic C.  He is all about getting himself dressed lately and this was his outfit the other day. A onesie that I really need to clean out of his closet with shorts that don't really match and of course his crocs. His crocs never match he will search the house to find these in this exact set.

So that was my week. How was yours? Are you linking up today?

    Jenny

PS:  Some people have asked and I use My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up to make my collages. You can get a free 30 day trial from my store if you want to try it out. Just go here and check it out.

disclaimer: There are a couple affiliate links up there. ;)

    Thursday Thoughts

Wow how did it get to be Thursday already? I'm linking up with Jenn over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for some thoughts.

    • Wow the people are Big Brother are just crazy this year.  I sometimes wonder if they do not realize that people are actually watching them 24/7 online. I can see how maybe you could forget in your own house but in the BB house no way are you forgetting.
    • So hard to believe that my sister is here for college orientation this week and I get to see her for lunch today.  I know she thinks I will be awesome and I'll see her way more once she's in college since you know every college kid wants to be seen with their big sister.  I know I will bribe her roommates with free food and subscription box goodies ;)
    • You never realize  how loud kids make a house until they aren't here.  Yesterday C was taking a late nap and with N gone and with the tv off it was so quiet.  I  actually relished in my work with the quiet.
    • I'm not sure what was actually wrong with my oven except it was something with the circuit board but it is now fixed and hopefully shipping back to me soon. I didn't realize how good all baked meals sound until I wasn't able to bake anything.
    • So I've been recording Mistresses and Under the Dome but I haven't watched either yet.  Anyone watching them? Do I need to watch or just take off the Tivo?
So that's my bit of randomness thoughts today.  What are  you thinking about?

    So What Wednesday!!!

It's So What Wednesday over at Life After I Dew.

This week I'm saying So What If:

    • N is at my moms for a couple days and I'm so excited for him and me. I love him dearly but a mini vacation from the five year old? Yes please sign me up. :)
    • C goes out everyday in mismatched crocs.  He wears one orange and one green shoe everyday and I don't care.
    • I spent the weekend reading a book that falls under paranormal romance (aka vampire porn as I like to call it) by Kresley Cole and now all I want to do is read another one.  Trying to decide which book I'm going to dig into next. I have a stash here to dig through.
    • I keep staying up till midnight to catch the beginning of Big Brother After Dark but I only see about 2 minutes before I fall asleep.
    •  I haven't ordered my new Stampin' Up goodies yet.  My list is just too long and I really need to pare it down and spread it out a bit.

So that is what I'm So Whating this week. What are you?

    Jenny
