So What Wednesday

This week I'm saying So What If....

• I'm getting way to into helping my sister get stuff for her first apartment.  She wants eclectic dishes ala Friends and I'm on the hunt.  I see lots of flea market shopping in our future this spring.
• In that regard Crate & Barrel had free shipping the other day and I ordered one thing. LOL It was a whopping $1 shipped. They are napkin rings but I love them.

• It snowed a little here last night we got a dusting but other areas got over and inch (and yes we call that snow here in NC ;)) and I'm still taking the boys for their pictures outside today. I can't wait.
• I am so so so so ready for N to go back to school tomorrow.  The advantage of year round is about the time the kids are oh so bored and getting on each others nerves they go back to school.
• Shameless Plugs:  Don't forget about the ongoing My Paper Pumpkin special and the current Walt Disney World Discount that are out right now.
• Now onto trying Shannon's new direction for So What Wednesday.
  So What If we are not doing a huge party for the boys birthdays this year.  We are going to do some fun activities as a family and they will have so much more fun that way. :)

So what do you think? Do you like the new direction she is going in. She is going to try to take a negative and swing it into a positive. I think for now I will do a hybrid post and work on getting all my negatives into positives as we go on. :)

TV Talk Tuesday

I'm back and as the shows are getting back into swing I figure we could do some chatting. :) There are spoilers below so if you are spoiler free then proceed at your own risk.  I'm a spoiler junkie so I don't mind reading and knowing. I love to see what someone thinks and then watch it myself and see how it really pans out. Sometimes I agree and sometimes I don't but I want the info. Can't Stop the Signal ;) (bonus points if you get that reference. Another awesome show and movie)

Who watched Flowers in the Attic? I'm a huge VC Andrews fan and I'll admit I stopped reading her books a couple years ago but until then I'm pretty sure I read them all including this one. I remember thinking how bad girl ;) I was being reading these books back in the day but they really do stand up to the times and are still good.  I may need to add her back into my reading rotation. Anyway the movie I thought was really good.  They didn't gloss over the good parts but didn't make it too icky either.  I hear rumors that they are already talking about more movies and book two of the series is going to be interesting.

Oh Supernatural how I love you so.  Last weeks episode was a great one back from hellatus and this weeks looks great. I don't like my boys apart but I could see it coming so I'll be ok. I'm just hoping it doesn't last too long and they are a team soon once again.

Ok someone tell me do I need to watch Revenge? I loved the first season but last season kindof felt like work to watch. I've heard this season is better.  I have all of the episodes on my Tivo but I just haven't brought myself to watch them yet.  Should I dig in?  Is this season better then last?

Pretty sure I mentioned in a post that I love White Collar. This is a great show and so much fun.  Plus who doesn't like watching Matt Bomer.  I really like how it is his shows but the supporting cast still plays a big part in it and it doesn't feel like they are just there. They are going in an interesting direction this season and I'm curious to see how it plays out. Very rarely does Neal get dupped and he was so suckered by this girl. I want to see how he comes out of it.  I'm actually thinking this might be the first time he has ever been coned and I don't think he is going to take it lightly.

Monday Morning Musings

My first Monday back after vacation so getting back into some musings.

• We have family pictures on Wed outside and now it looks like it is going to be so cold. Brrr 30deg is too cold for NC.  We will make due but now I need to figure out what we are going to wear. I want to coordinate without being too matchy matchy.  I better look at that today so that if need be I can do some shopping tomorrow.
• No mail today so I will have to wait for my boxes. :( Not expecting a ton but I still want them now.
• I had all intentions of skipping Julep this month but then I saw the IT girl collection and I really NEED it. Aren't they so pretty?

• N goes back to school on Thursday. I guess his mornings of waking up at 9 are over for awhile. Do you guys make your kids keep their routines when not in school?  We'll see how it goes this time and try to decide if we need to be better at it next time.
• Spending the morning working on my planner and getting some meals figured out. The boys are screaming at each other so it might be short lived. :(
• N got some new Disney Infinity characters last weekend with my mom. I did not know that they had some RARE characters that are crystal like.  They do they same thing as the regular character but they get XP faster and unlock a new area and have special discs. I was all ready to take them back and exchange but now I think we might keep them. N knew what all they did but I'm still not sure we needed them. They do look pretty cool though. We got Jack Sparrow, Lightning McQueen and Buzz Lightyear.

So I think that is my morning and week. How is your week looking? Craziness?

Friday Phone Dump Disney style

Linking up with Ramblings of a Suburban Mom this week for some Friday Phone Dump. This week I'm doing it Disney style since I have so many pictures from my trip this is sure to be just one of many Disney photo posts. These are just some of the many I took on my phone.

• The rings are gone so we are heading out to Disney.
• How we roll. 4 boys and 2 moms heading down the road.
• Construction on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is coming right along. (these pictures has the inner engineer in me giddy :))
• What little boy doesn't want to fly with Peter Pan?
• Haircuts on Main Street. It's now a tradition.

• What happens with 5 kids waiting for the show to start.

• Pluto (aka poopoo as C calls him)
• Meeting the soldier man. This is one of my favorite pictures. C was very insistent that we met the soldier man.
• C was also obsessed with tossing our trash and the trash cans.  Hmm maybe I should have him throw more things away at home ;)

So those are just a couple of the pictures I have on my phone. Good thing I'm a scrapbooker lots of fun to come with these.

Ipsy Jan 2014 Bag Review

I knew that the bags were shipped but I hadn't been paying too much attention to when mine would be here. Well today was the day I saw the AWESOME hot pink Ipsy bag in my mailbox.

Right away I was so excited and it was pretty heavy for an Ipsy bag so that had me intrigued too.

Onto the details...

• the bag - while I will say this isn't the most awesome bag that Ipsy has sent I do like the feel of the bag and the size. I also think that it will be cute with my travel goodies.
• Malin+Goetz Mojito Lip Balm - I'm always good for lip balm and I've never heard of this so ready to try it out. 
• Balanced Guru Balm Me Up Organic Cocoa & Tangy Body Balm - my skin is so dry right now so I can't wait to try this one out. Hmm I may have to have M give me a little massage ;)
• Yaby liquid foundation in Buff - I don't normally use a liquid foundation but I'm all up for a trial. This looks a little dark for my light skin though so I will have to see.
• Benefit the POREfressional - I'm a Benefit fan so I always love their samples.  I've not used this one before but it is supposed to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and minimize the size of pores. Adding this to my regimen for after moisturizing in the mornings.
• Absolute! Makeup Cleansing Tissue - Yea I don't use these on a regular basis but I love to take them when I travel and with my upcoming cruises I will need these.  So excited to get some extras.

Over all it was a very moisturizing month for me ;) Lots of new things for me to try out. If you want to check out what Ipsy is all about just click my link. For the value its a great deal for me and I always get so many new things to try out and love.

Thursday Thoughts

Linking up with Jenn again for some Thursday Thoughts.

• Pretty sure I told you all but when I was packing for WDW N wanted to take a Warrior Poet shirt for everyday.  Since the weather varied from the 40s to the 80s we were able to do that.  It just today as I was putting away the clean clothes struck me that not everybody has an almost 6 year old that is that opinionated on his wardrobe. LOL 

• Took N to my mom's house for the weekend so its just C here for awhile and I fully plan to work on my Erin Condren planner. I've started filling it out but I was waiting to really get into it when I got home. So now is the time.
• Trying to decide what I want to do for dinner the next couple of nights. Anyone have anything that sounds good?  We have leftover chili here so I'm thinking that with grilled cheese tonight but after that I'm at a loss.
• Who is watching Revenge this season?  I have the whole season on the Tivo but haven't watched any yet.  Trying to decide if I need to say I just don't want Revenge anymore. Last season was just hohum so not sure.
• Spoilers in this one for White Collar and Supernatural so don't read if you don't to know. :) Tuesday I watched last weeks White Collar before SPN started and unfortunately the very talented Mark Sheppard was killed on WC that night.  Well while watching SPN I was worried he might be killed again. LOL I told M that it really would not be his day to die on two shows on the same night.  As luck would have it he's still alive on SPN and it looks like he has some juicy parts coming up.
• I'm working through all of my photos from Disney so there will probably be a very Disney photo dump Friday tomorrow.  Between my phone, the camera and Memory Maker I have about 1000 photos. ;)

Well I'm getting called to help set up the Peppa Pig game so I guess I'm off for today. I hope everyone has a good one.

This week I'm saying So What if...

• There is so much to do here since we got home and I just want to sit on the computer and catch up with my friends.
• it looks like I will be taking a cruise in March and April this year :)
• I want to go back to WDW now.
• We just got back and I'm sending N to my mom's for a long weekend tomorrow ;)
• I've printed so many pictures lately but I want to start on my WDW trip.
• I haven't scrapped my last WDW trip yet. 
• Shameless plus time... Both Stampin' Up and Disney released specials while I was away.  I posted blogs on them both.  Stampin' Up My Paper Pumpkin special and WDW Spring Special.  I'm very excited for both of them so let me know if you have any questions.
