Good afternoon!!! I had a busy week last week with Thanksgiving and having my little helpers home and realized I didn't get much blogging in.  Oh well I'm back this week and starting with my Monday Curretly link up with Becky over at Choose Happy for her Currently post.

Currently.....

Thankful--- For champagne!!! Yes when I go to the  families for any holiday my SIL and I manage to down a bottle.  Gotta love the bubble when spending the day with family. :)

Disgusted--- at losing teeth.  Ugh and to think we've been waiting for this and really it is pretty disgusting.  His first two lost teeth were accidentally knocked out and were so loose they didn't bleed or anything but this one while it was loose when he got it out it was disgusting. N of course is very happy.

Loving (kindof)--- The weather.  We had a beautiful Thanksgiving end of last week and this weekend with temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s but today it is nasty and rainy and cold.  :(  Of course with the nice weather we tried to stay outside and we had to stop at our picture wall for a little photo session while on our walk.

Laughing--- at C.  You all know I love to post pics of C sleeping and he sure can sleep in some of the weirdest places but this one is just crazy.  M took both boys to the NCState vs UNC football game this weekend and C got so excited and did so much walking he crashed in the middle of the 3rd quarter.  Uhm that is when NCState actually decided to play for a little bit and the stadium was very very loud so no idea how he managed to sleep through that.

Smiling--- at this picture. It is one of my favorites of C and Santa. Timehop has done it again. That really is a great app and I love seeing the old pictures and bringing up memories.

Have a great week everyone!!!

TV Talk Tuesday

WARNING: SPOILERS BELOW - ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

And here we go.....

Let's start with my usual Walking Dead. So if you watched this week you know what this picture means.  I will say I kindof expected it and it happened pretty close to how I was thinking but it was still pretty great to actually see Glenn make it.  It also leads to an interesting bit with him and Enid and I'm guessing that he and Maggie will take her in but we will have to see.  Now back to  Alexandria and that mess. WOWsers I'm sure we will see some more people die with this latest issue but I think they will come out stronger and some of the Alexandrians will come out stronger in the end.  I like the idea of Alexandria though so I hope they get to stay there awhile more and/or get to go back.  I do wonder why they didn't see that the tower was leaning towards the fence and push it the other way.  Of course I think it has only been like a day or something since the whole season started so while it feels like it has been going on forever for us it hasn't been that long for them.

So I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Originals. This season is really heating up with the war against the sire lines.  I love how the family pulls together against an enemy no matter how much they are fighting with each other.  And I'm thinking I mentioned this before but they added Jason Dohring this season and really he makes everything better :)  I think there is more to him then we are seeing so far but I love that he is on there.

So I'll go on record and say I am way behind on my new shows.  The problem with the above three Limitless, Blindspot, and Quantico are that M and I want to watch them together and we have been so busy we just haven't had time to really watch. We are hoping that now that some shows are going on hiatus until Jan we can pick these up. I think they all look really good and I can't wait to watch. Which one are you watching? Is there one we should start with?

Happy Watching,
Jenny

Thursday Thoughts

Happy Fall Thursday afternoon!!!  I'm back today and linking up with Jen for her Thursday Thoughts with Ramblings of a Suburban Mom.

  • Have you guys every had a new Chick-fil-a open near you?  We have one open today about 5 minutes from my house and I had to go by yesterday to see the campers. The first 100 people get coupons for food for the year.  I love me some CFA but I'm not camping out for it.

  • Of course that didn't mean C and I didn't stop by today when we were out to the grocery store to get him some lunch.  I told him only if the line wasn't too bad and since I could get into the drive through lane I figured we'd give it a go. :)

  • C had his Thanksgiving Feast at preschool the other day. The kids looked so cute and actually sang the blessing up on the stage. It was a little in the round but they all made it through. The food was really good too and such an assortment.  These are the things I will miss when he goes to big kid school next year.

  • So random but I caught up on Supergirl and I love who they have for her step-parents. I never really watched Lois & Clark but of course I knew what it was and I loved he Supergirl movie from back in the day.  I love the little ins they give us "older" kids who enjoy these comic shows.

  • I saw this in my feed the other day and I love the idea.  I need to talk to M and maybe do something like this this year.  I think it is awesome.

So that is about it for day.  C and I are home now and have carpool today so will head out that way in a bit. It is rainy and dreary but should clear up for the weekend and I get to do some scrapping with my girls so I'm beyond excited.

Have a great weekend everyone!!!

TV Talk Tuesday

WARNING: SPOILERS BELOW - ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

I'm not kidding today there are some major spoilers down here.  I NEED to talk about a couple of these shows. I hope you enjoy and let me know what you are watching below.

So totally starting with the Vampire Diaries and this weeks episode.  While I don't think the episode was overly active they did give tons and tons of information in it.  Let's start off with the flash forward at the beginning and finding out that Alaric and Caroline are engaged!!! Uhm what? that is just totally crazy and so not what I was expecting. I would say a lot has happened in three years.  Then lets jump to the end of the episode and learning that Caroline is carrying Jo and Alarics twins.  I have no idea how all that works and what it will mean for the future as I'm sure the Gemini coven is not going to want to just leave them alone for too long but WOWsers that is just craziness.  I mean really I don't even care what happened in the rest of the episode (but watching faux Jo die again was very sad) when they dropped all these bombs on me at one time.  I was full on jaws to the floor.  I can't wait for this weeks episode and hopefully have them fill in some of the pieces.

OMG how gut wrenching has Reign been lately?  And this week was no exception.  Watching Francis die was miserable and so so sad.  I was a little concerned that they were going to let him live for a little bit once they revived him but then for him to actually die rescuing Mary was perfect and made everything even more touching.  I'm not wondering what the show is going to do. I looked up the history and Mary rushes back to Scotland in real life however I doubt they will make her go away from all that is going on in French court so fast on the show but I don't know.  There would be a ton of cast that would be gone if she went to another country and that would be a shame. I'm betting they take some license and let her stay for awhile.

I caught up with Once Upon a Time and I'm a little confused with the two dark ones now. Not that I'm upset that Emma and Hook can be together but what is she trying to do? Get the darkness out of them both maybe?  I will say this whole first half of this season has been a little odd to me and feels kindof disjointed.  While I like Merida I don't feel like they integrated her as well as they did Elsa last season.  I can't wait to see how they finish out this half of the season and then the long hiatus to March when the show returns.

Happy Viewing,
Jenny

Currently

Good afternoon!!! I was looking through my pictures this week and some comments and realized this is going to be pretty much an about me kindof Currently this week.  I love linking up with Becky over at Choose Happy for her Currently post and forcing myself to think outside my normal box some weeks.  This is so much fun.

Currently.....

Shopping--- Target clearance. Last week while N was away M,C and I got some time to hunt around Target and I was lucky enough to find a really cute Mickey Mouse and a Star Wars tee on clearance.  My boys now think I'm cool and I'm ready for December to get here.

Loving--- my cat Kali. She is over 18 yrs old so is really turning into an old girl but she is so great and is totally my cat. She just puts up with all the boys in our house :)  Her favorite spot is to sit on my lap and keep my warm while we watch tv.  She is always so very close.

Cutting--- my bangs.  I'm not great about going to get haircuts but I do have and love my bangs.  They have lately been annoying me to some extent and then I realized based on my timeline photos that the bangs I have now are thinner then I had even a year ago so I got a thought and did some cutting and now they are thicker.  I'm  much happier and need to remember that I like them a bit thicker.

Located--- I get asked some where all I'm located and what all I sell and do so I thought I would put it all right here so you can follow along if you would like.

Have a great Monday and rest of the week!!!

Good afternoon!!!  I was busy playing catch up yesterday so I'm just getting a chance to do my recap with Becky over at Choose Happy for her Currently post :)

Currently.....

Blessed--- for my family. My brother moved to Denver, CO so we don't see him as often as we used to but when he gets a chance to come into town we all try to make the effort.  With him coming in last weekend we all headed to my mom's house for an early family Thanksgiving.  We had a blast and it was great to see everyone.

Since I'm still playing catchup and N goes back to school this week I'll be back for more Currently and updates next week.

Have a great week everyone!!!

TV Talk Tuesday

WARNING: SPOILERS BELOW - ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Excited to talk some TV today.

Let's start this week off with some Vampire Diaries.  Like I've said before I'm liking this season and I think they are doing a good job with Elena being going.  I'm also liking the little flash forwards that they are starting the episodes with. They are giving us a little flash at what happens 3 yrs in the future and something major must have happened since our main cast is all spread out and doing their own thing.  I'm also still trying to figure out who the hunter is and they keep showing me people so we can know who it isn't.  Still so many possibilities.  So this week we saw Bonnie and Enzo together and then we saw some interaction in the current time line with them and you can start to see some of the flirtation there.  So fun.  I'm also happy to see Jo back even though she isn't really Jo but her and Alaric seem to be trying to work it out for now but I'm sure something will come up since we were told the souls were old vampire souls so that vampire tendencies should show themselves soon.  eeeh so exciting and I love when they get more Alaric on the screen so this could be a big story arc for him.

Next up is Supergirl.  Uhm can someone remind me that Peter Facinelli is going to be the show. LOL I kindof remember now that I've seen him that I read he was going to be on it but I had forgotten so I got a nice little boost.  Of course I'm sure he will end up being a bad guy of some kind but I like him so far.  This week also introduced us to Jenna Dewan Tatum as Lucy Lane and since I like her as an actress I hope she sticks around. It will also help keep the Jimmy/Kara stuff as a will they or won't they relationship.  It also strikes me as funny that Kara and Clark are Iming. It seem so ridiculous to me that Supergirl and Superman have to message each other but it just makes things so much more normal and common place.

M and I have finally caught up on Bones too.  I will say I was a little skeptical when they were going to do a cross over with Sleepy Hollow since I don't care for Sleepy Hollow and couldn't get through the first season but they made it work and it was only a little awkward.  I did not go and watch the SH episode since I feel the Bones one was wrapped up and I didn't need more info but I'm sure it was fine too.  I'm also warming to Aubrey  he is by no means Sweets but he is coming into his own and fitting in better with the group. I just wish they had hired someone a bit more different. I mean he is a psychologist like Sweets was but he still a very similar character.

I'm going to work on catching up on some more shows this week and I'll be back next week for some more talk.
Happy Viewing,
Jenny

Thursday Thoughts

Happy Fall Thursday afternoon!!!  I'm back today and linking up with Jen for her Thursday Thoughts with Ramblings of a Suburban Mom.

  • I often wonder why my boys insist on being right with me at all times. :) Don't get me wrong but our house is plenty big so I'm not sure why they need to be right with me at all times. LOL

  • Oh and if that isn't close enough they often times want to be right on my lap.

  • So when they aren't right on me they are next to me and with all the rain we have had the last little bit the family room has been out haven.  M laughed when we bought our furniture and I went ahead and got the two ottomans they had there.  We got the furniture at an outlet center and I just felt back leaving one ottoman all by its lonesome but who could have guessed that 9 years later we would need them both. ;) They both wanted to put their legs out and this is the best way to keep them from kicking each other.

  • Now while I may have been talking about them I do love them to pieces and this one can always tug at my heartstrings.  He is such a mommies boy and a cuddle monkey and I LOVE it.

So how is that for a very kidcentric Thursday Thoughts. LOL

Have a great weekend!!!

TV Talk Tuesday

WARNING: SPOILERS BELOW - ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Time to talk some TV. It's been a but busy over here so I'm just getting to this today.

So first up is my weekly Walking Dead. This was a slower episode from the last couple of weeks but even with that it didn't feel slow. I didn't even realize that it was 90minutes when I was watching.  So I'm thinking I still like Morgan even though some of his actions aren't always the best in the long run I do think he is trying and doing what he thinks is the best.  Now that we have his story I'm curious to see how it will play out with the rest of the season. The previews for next week look to pic up where last weeks ended and at least Maggie will be off to try and find Glenn and maybe then we will get some answers on him.

Is anyone still watching Reign?  They are really tugging at the heartstrings as they lead up to Francis dieing.  They told us and we all know it is coming but it is still so sad and heart wrenching to watch.  They are such a great couple and he will be sorely missed.  I'm very curious how they will lead on and how soon it will be that they pair Mary up with someone else.  I think Catherine will have something to say about that one. I still get a little thrill watching Anne of Green Gables on my tv each week. It brings the little girl out in me I think.

I've mentioned it before and you all know I'm currently in to General Hospital. I actually have a love hate relationship with it and will go in and out of watching and right now I'm watching.  I do let my self fast forward when I want and normally I'm cleaning when I have it on but it works for me. :)  So this week is the big wedding of Jake/Jason and Elizabeth.  Since Carly now knows that Jake is really Jason you know that all hell is going to break loose at the wedding. He is going to be so mad when he finds out that Elizabeth knew and didn't tell him.  I do wonder if this will play into the Sam/Patrick wedding as well and after reading some spoilers last week I'm sure it will.  I'm not sure that they will put this Jason back with Sam right away but I do like the friendship that they have and hope that they can at least maybe work together or something.

What have been your favorite shows recently?
Let's talk some TV!!!

Good morning!!!  Back from a crazy busy week and weekend for my weekly recap and link up with Becky over at Choose Happy for her Currently post :)

Currently.....

Exhausted--- from the weekend.  With Halloween and then daylight savings time I'm just beat. I'm pretty sure my boys are too as they have been monsters today. :(  We did have a great Halloween and they loved their costumes and all of our decorations. #HP #PicCollage

Eating--- so much candy. Oh my goodness we got so much candy. Normally C only makes it about halfway around the neighborhood but this year he made it the whole way so we got double the candy.  Luckily I did give out a good chunk or what I had bought but WOWsers we still have so much.

Smiling---  at my boys.  We went to a birthday party yesterday and while it was inside we were able to explore the rest of the museum outside afterwards. It was raining though so we just took a quick look at the new area and I promised to take them back sometime.

Watching--- so many great movies ;)  Well I think they are great but I'm not sure M agrees with me. LOL  Did you get a chance to watch any of these this weekend?  Can you name them?

Laughing--- at this pic. It is oh so true and while I love Halloween I love Christmas too so I say bring it on. I'm ready!!!

Have a great week everyone!!!
