Friday Phone Dump

Linking up with Jenn again as usual for some Friday Phone Dump.  I didn't really take a ton of photos this week as we are finally getting into the swing of things after a week off with the snow.

We made a trip to Target and this was how C rode the whole time. He really wanted to look for Anna and Else Disney Infinity Characters but they are sold out everywhere.  Sorry kid you will have to wait.

Since every boy needs two Ipads in his fort. LOL  He was really more playing with the Imaginext but he had both Ipads playing a different show.

It was a jammie day the other day.

And per usual carpool is exhausting and he just can't make it.  Good thing it was jammie day and he was already dressed for his nap.

Very random photo of the week. My friend has a bird building nests above her door and when we had the same problem someone told us to put a rubber snake up there.  We didn't have a rubber snake so we put a plastic dinosaur up there and it has stayed up there since.  We do get some interesting questions from people who come knocking on my door but it works. So if you ever have this issue I think any plastic toy makes the birds think that space is occupied. ;)

Yeap that's it nothing else exciting this week. How was your week?  Anything fun and exciting go on?

Thursday Thoughts

Linking up for some Thursday Thoughts.

  • Spent the morning out running errands. I met with the photographer who took our pictures a couple weeks ago, then I was planning on going straight to Target but I ended up make a stop at Michaels.  Lots of clearance goodies there right now.  So much fun.
  • I love love love how our pictures came out. Here is just one of the family ones. It was so cold that day but I love how they came out. Thank you Kelly!!!

  • Did you see my post on my new Erin Condren stuff yesterday?  I'm in love and I just keep picking it up and oogling it.  LOL

  • N wanted pencils or erasers to take for his Valentine's this year.  I grabbed some erasers at Target today so hopefully we will get some time to work on his cards this weekend.  C decided he needed temporary tattoos so he picked some Phineas and Ferb cards last week. LOL He is so silly but has a pretty set mind.
  • C has all of a sudden really got in to Calliou.  I remember N loving this show but really he is so annoying.  I'm not sure we have another show that is as bad as this one right now.

  • Girls night tonight and then date night tomorrow. I'm going to be a spoiled girl. ;) But I'm so excited and ready for both.

So what are you thinking about today? Anything fun and exciting?

Erin Condren Love

I realize I talk about my Erin Condren planner a lot but I never actually blogged it and now I have a new box of goodies from them so I decided to share it all with you now. :) This one came really really fast. I ordered on Jan 30th and it came today. Since its custom made this is a really fast turn around.

When I first opened the box it was already so pretty.

First look and hard to tell but they had everything in the box wrapped in bubble wrap so it was not going to move around.

I couldn't wait to dig in.

This is my newest order.  The book on the left is just a notebook with lots of blank pages in it.  The book on the right is an address book. I have my addresses on index cards from when I got married and I've been wanting more of a book so I grabbed this one. In this order I also got some elastics to go around the books, a pen holder, some new markers, sticky note and as a gift from them a table top calendar. :)  I don't even know which to start with they are all so pretty.

Here is my planner. I'm already in love and I'm just starting to really get into it. I love the month at a glance and the weekly call outs. You can also decorate your pages as you go.

This is just a little I did with some Washi for the week when I was at WDW. :)

I couldn't decide which cover I really liked so I ordered different ones for everything.  They have so any choices and you can customize so much of it.  If you want to check Erin Condren out and use my link you will get $10 off your first purchase and I will get a $10 credit too. Don't forget to sign up for their emails too as they send coupons and discounts in there. Right now they have a discount on their Teacher Planners where you can get 30% off with code TEACHERLOVE and they will automatically toss in a free set of the markers. That is an awesome deal.

How are you trying to stay organized this year?  Have any tips that work for you?  I'm hoping that if I actually have something to work with then that will help. I still keep an electronic calendar for stuff but I realized I need a paper one to write all the other little things that come up in and to work on my meal planning, kids planning etc.

Have a great year and stay organized,
Jenny

disclaimer: That is my referral link up there as I said. If you order through me then I get credits to order more goodies.

So What Wednesday

Linking up  and Today I am saying So What If...

  • I till get nervous every time I have to go to Ns school.  Its not the going or the volunteering but the going to the office part that gets me.  LOL and our school is so nice I really should not be worried.
  • I jut put the suitcase away from our Disney trip and I'll have to get it back out in a couple weeks for my cruise.
  • I get a little stalkerish trying to figure out what stores are going into the new shopping center by my house. :)
  • We aren't doing big parties for the boys this year. We are doing a family dinner this weekend and heading to my mom's house next weekend. They are still having fun.
  • I'm ready to plan another Disney trip for myself. I get a little fix helping others plan their trips but I want to go back too.  Hmm maybe a Disney Cruise next time.
  • I'm sitting here writing this and I really should be getting ready.  No plans to go out today so we have plenty of time ;)
  • Shameless Plug time -  There is still time to take advantage of the My Paper Pumpkin Special. Stampin' Up is  offering NEW My Paper Pumpkin subscribers an incentive. TV Talk Tuesday

Since it's Tuesday and I feel like talking some TV. As usual these may not be the most recent episodes but just talking about the shows I've watched recently.  There could also be spoilers below if you aren't up to date on all the shows so proceed at your own risk ;)

Pretty Little Liars:  I have not read the books but I have heard that the show is different. With that being said are we supposed to believe that Ezra is 'A'.  I'm just not sure buy that he is the all empowering A.  Does it look like he is on team A sure does but I can't wait to see how it plays out. I will say that he was a little dull the first couple season but now WOW I could watch him all the time.  Does anyone else who watches think that every new guy the girls meet is just bad news. I swear they must all be working for A.  :)  Love Love Love this show.  If you want a guilty pleasure and don't already watch you need to start and if you do watch what do you think is going on?

Bones and Castle: I really think I could go on and on and on about these shows. I've been watching both since the beginning since I am a Whedonite and I wold follow David and Nathan anywhere. LOL These are my goto shows during the day when I want something on but I don't necessarily want to concentrate on them too hard.  Luckily TNT shows one or the other of them all day and I love that. I can always get my fix.  I did read this week that Bones got picked up for a 10th and likely final season. I'm hoping that it goes out with a bang.  Do you have any shows that you can always turn on?

So I think that might be all my talk today.  I'm getting ready for Supernatural tonight and I can't wait for it. Tonights episode looks hysterical. I love when the boys get to just play around. They are so great at comedy with all the drama that is their show normally.

Have a great TV week and I'll check back in next week.
Happy Viewing,
Jenny

Monday Morning Musings

Oh Monday how I was so looking forward to you. :)  I know not normally how that goes but after all the snow days last week I'm so happy to be back to the routine. Now if it would only not rain everyday this week it would be a good one.

  • So who all watched the Superbowl?  Of course we had it on here especially with Russell playing and we are very glad the SeaHawks won but it was kindof a boring game.  I was hoping for a closer game.  Did you like the ads? My favorites are probably the Radio Shack one and the Cheerios one.  They  both made me smile and I liked that I hadn't seen those before the actual game.  I kindof like the anticipation of having to wait until the game to see the ads.  Thoughts on halftime?  I thought it was pretty good.  Bruno went out there and did his thing. Nothing over the top or too over produced and who doesn't love the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They are awesome.
  • So besides that I got to go scrapping with my friends on Saturday. I said my farewells to Archivers and I will be so sad that we can't go there anymore.  Such a sad day for a great store and I will miss all the wonderful employees who are  more like friends then employees. :(
  • Also did you see my Julep post the other day?  I did get a chance to put a coat on before I went out and decided that Glam Roc was the way to go. OMG I'm in love. It is a dark purple with a stardust finish so it has some texture.  Love love love

  • So Friday night the boys wanted to watch a movie in my room.  So we set it up and they were all cozy in there nice and quiet and I check on them about 20 min before the movie was over and they were good. I went up 5 min after the movie was over and they were out. Needless to say M and I slept in the visitor room (that is what N calls our guest room ;)) Oh and C is not naked in this picture but I think the flash reflected off of his diaper. LOL

  • Lets see what about boxes this week?  My Wantable  Intimates went into processed today so it should be out tomorrow or Wednesday so possible later this week. Funny story on Saturday I was a walking Wantable  ad. Well not that everyone got to see it but I was wearing socks, panties, bralette, and cami all from my boxes.  What can I say I'm in love with everything.
  • So plans for this week.  Hmmm tomorrow I'm heading to Ns school to read to his classroom and have lunch with him. I was going to do this last Tuesday for his birthday but with all the snow days we had to postpone until tomorrow.  I have a girls night out on Thursday that I'm really looking forward to and then Sunday is Cs birthday so we'll be having a C day that day and a family dinner that night.  We are hoping for no more snow this week and we can make it through the whole week (and Saturday) of school.
What do you have planned this week? Anything exciting and fun?

Jenny

disclaimer: Those are some referral links up there or links to another post that has a referral link in it. As I've said before if you order through it I will get credits toward future boxes and I will be very grateful.

Scrappy Saturday

In honor of my going to Archivers today for the last time before it closes I'm sharing a couple pages I made the last time I was there.  I took some very random supplies last time so I ended with some odd pages for me. Which I think is a good thing since you will get some variation in my albums when you start flipping through.

  • I know I've shared this picture of N before but it is a favorite and I finally scrapped it.  I used some October Afternoon packs from my Santa Sack buys for them.  I love how lots of their lines have similar color tones so I can mix and match between the different collections.
  • This is a leftover pack that I had gotten the time before when I was there.  Love this picture of my boys on the car and it always reminds me of when you hear a truck going beep beep beep as it backs up so that is what I had to title my page.
  • A very simple page to show the fun playground at the Zoo.  N would go to the zoo just to play on this playground and pretty sure we have gone and about only played on here.  Don't you love the little banners. I love me some banners and the mini clothespins are too cute.  You can never have too many mini clothespins.
  • There is alot of stuff on here for a page I make.  I love all the green flowers and its a way for me to use flowers without being too girlie looking but then I needed to add a little something else so I used some cork banner pieces.  I love the finished result of them.

  • Another simple page but it shows the picture so well. I was also able to use some more flowers on this page. They are more crocheted so again not as girlie.  The colors matched my Stampin Up paper perfectly.  Do you notice that this title matches the one above?  I bought a pack of words from Little Yellow Bicycle when I was there and they are just the perfect size and color for my pages. It is a great break from using thicker like I do alot of the time.
  • And finally another October Afternoon layout.  This paper screams little kid playground to me and I love these pictures of N sitting under a tree.  He was so bored this day that he said he was going to sit out there until the mailman came. Our mailman is so nice and always talks to the boys so N was going to wait for him.
I hope you like the pages. They are outside my comfort zone but that is something I've been working on so that there will be variety in my books.  I love using my Stampin' Up paper as my bases pages and working from there. With all the colors we carry I have something for all occasions.

Are you getting crafty today?  I'll be at Archivers for my farewell crop and I'll share some of those goodies in the weeks to come.

Happy crafting!!!
Jenny
