Finally Friday
Hey look at me and back to blogging for a second time this week!!! I took a break and it was great but I'm planning to be back more now to share my randomness with you more often. This is a new one for me and pretty much just where I'm going to put out whatever I'm thinking about on a Friday about the week before.
- I love a holiday week where the boys don't have school however it does make the rest of the week seem so long.
- Today is the last upper 90deg day here for awhile and I can not say I will miss them.
- To make the week longer it is early release from school today so the boys and I will be heading to the pool before it closes for the season.
- I have a huge To Be Read pile of books all and I really want to read them all but I'm going to finish up the series I started awhile ago first. The final book just got here this week so I know what I'll be picking up this weekend. It's got lots of time travel and a bit of romance all mixed into a nice little YA package. They are so good and the new fall show Timeless actually reminds me of it. So you know that one is on my list.
- Speaking of TV. Did you see my TV chart? I posted it yesterday and if you missed it you can check it out HERE!!!! It is actually one of the smaller ones that I've ever had. Less TV means more time for reading.
No big plans for the weekend here. We have a birthday party tomorrow and probably try and get to the pool at least one more time. I'm ready for fall and the cooler weather that is coming soon. I just can't wait.
Have a great weekend,
Jenny

Fall TV 2016 - TV Talk
My Entertainment Weekly came yesterday and I immediately went through and read it. I mean how could I not when my Superntural boys where on the cover! So yes for those new to my blog (well I haven't been blogging much lately but I hope to be back soon) I create a chart each year with the shows and how they will fall out during the week. We actually switched from Tivo to our cable DVR recently so I can now record 6 things at a time! That is beyond exiting but looking at my chart I don't have as many overlaps as in years past so not as big a deal but still it is so exciting. This year I'm going to give you a little nightly thoughts below the chart so stick around and check me out.
Here is the chart......
Here is the chart......
So lets check it out for a quick daily thoughts.
Sunday - I'm running the gambit of shows on this night from fantasy to zombies to procedural. They are all so good and returning shows that I know I will watch. M and I both watch Elementary so that one will get a bit backed up on the dvr and I have to be careful since football sometimes messes with the start time.
Monday - Look how much empty space is on my Monday night? It is usually my most crazy recording night. I can't wait to see how Supergirl does on the CW and how it meshes with the other DC shows on the channel. Timeless also looks great and so much like the books series I'm currently reading. I'm hoping its great and I have great ideas for it.
Tuesday - This is us seems to be the show to talk about of the season. I swear with all the commercials during the Olympics everyone is interested in it. The cast looks awesome and they are kindof close in age to me so I can't wait to see how it goes.
Wednesday - Two new shows on Wednesday oh what am I going to do. LOL Designated Survivor looks like a show both M and I will love and then Frequency just looks interesting. I saw the movie years ago and this is kindof a take off from that but I haven't seen a bunch about it but I'm going to try it out.
Thursday - And here are where my boys ended up :) I've been watching Supernatural since the beginning and I love that it is really starting to get the respect that I've always given it. Legends is so interesting to me and I loved last season so I'm hoping they don't have a sophomore slump. I want to see how all the of DC shows are going to work with the new contracts they gave some of the actors to float between them all. That is so different from what we are used to and I can't wait.
Friday - This is the last season for Vampire Diaries and while I haven't always loved it I actually liked last season with Elena gone and I can't wait to see where they take it this year. It also looks like Damon is going to be back to his early Vampire Diaries self and more mischievous. I love the glint that Ian gets in his eyes when he's playing Damon that way.
Overall I think it will be a great season but I don't have as many new shows to try and some of my returning shows aren't back until mid-season so they aren't on this list either. Last year I had 27 fall shows to try and this year I'm down to 16! That is huge for me and I'm a bit excited to in theory have some more free time. I've really gotten into reading more lately and I know the time will be taken up with that.
I'm beyond excited and ready now for the new season. What are you most interested in? Anything new that really catches your eyes? Any shows that you think I'm missing? I'm always up for adding to my list and checking something new out.
Happy viewing,
Jenny

TV Talk Tuesday
We have so much TV to talk about today. It was a crazy weekend on the TV front.
As always there will be SPOILERS below so enter at your own risk.
Of course as I mentioned in yesterdays post I NEED to start with the Walking Dead. Oh my goodness what did everyone think? I will say I love Jeffrey Dean Morgan and I thought he was awesome in his introduction of Negan. As far as the rest of the episode it was really blah and very slow. I'm pretty much over Carol right now so I don't need to see any more of her and then the whole getting Rick and gang to drive around was slow to watch. I get that it was showing us how large and together the Saviors are and that will come into play I'm sure next season since we know that Rick et al have killed a ton of them and there are still so many more out there. I also have a random thought about Dwight and Daryl. I'm wondering if in his own way Dwight was trying to help Daryl by shooting him. With him injured it seems less likely that Negan would pick him to kill and if he wasn't hurt Dwight knows that he would put up a battle and that would get him killed. Dwight has issues with Negan and is kindof stuck so just a thought but I'm guessing we'll see that played out. So speaking of Negan and killing who all do you think it was? I have not read the comics but I do know who it was in them and I'm thinking it has to be the same. As much as I love Glen and will hate to see him go I think he is the most likely candidate and the one that will propel the story along the most. My other thought is Abraham but I just don't think he has the same emotional punch that Glen's death will have. But for now all we can do is wait and discuss and over analyze everything until Oct or at least until they start filming again and we can get some casting updates. :) I'm all about spoilers so I read it all and love it.
Next up is Supernatural. I feel like its been awhile since I've talked about my boys and well they had been on hiatus and then I was behind so I've watched the last couple of weeks recently. I love Jim Beaver and his portrayal of Bobby. I think having the boys basically on the same hunt that Bobby and Rufus did back in the day was a great way to have both sets of players on at the same time even though they didn't interact. It did give a hint of a way that they could possible interact in the future if they could find another nest since it operates outside of time and space they could (well at least a version of them could) both be in there an work together somehow. Last weeks episode really tugged at the heartstrings and just thinking that Sam might die was agony. I'm glad it wasn't such a case but Dean is going to loose it if/when that every happens for good but really it is supernatural so death is hardly every permanent. I am ready for the end of the season and the pick up of the Darkness story line and seeing where that leads. There are not many episodes left so the action will really be picking up.
So I binged and caught up on Shadowhunters. I'm really liking where it is going and can't wait for the finale tonight. I have not read the Mortal Instruments books so I have no idea if it is following along with that but either way I'm wondering if I should pick them up and give them a shot. There is still a whole lot going on and I'm hoping that some of it will flush out in future seasons. There is so much going on right now that I'm not even sure where to begin talking. The wedding last week was awesome and I loved it, Clare and Jace being siblings is a bit weird and unexpected, Valentine is a baddie but is he really the end all baddie? So much going on and I can't wait to find it all out.

Currently 2016
It is Monday and I'm exhausted from all of last nights excitement but I'm here and back linking up with Becky over at Choose Happy for her Currently post on a Monday morning.
Currently.....
Enjoying--- the weather we've been having here lately. Besides all of the yellow pollen that is everywhere we've been able to enjoy the windows open and daily walks. Even M laughs now as we stop at the picture spot to take pictures with every walk. This falls under the you know you are a scrapbooker when your kids do it without being asked.
Dreading--- the upcoming weather. While I know some of you guys are having snow today and worse weather the rest of the week we will just be getting cold. With a high of 79 today I am not looking forward to the 50s later this week. Of course that does mean I can use my fireplace again which does make me a little happy. :)
Thankful--- for a great mom. When I asked C what he wanted to do for spring break he said go to grandma's without N. LOL not too hard since they are on different schedules this year but she was more then glad to have him and even brought him back on the train. He thought it was AWESOME and can't wait to take another trip.
Over-analyzing--- the Walking Dead finale. LOL I will have more in my TV Talk post tomorrow with my true thoughts and spoilers but for now all I'll say is REALLY? Ugh I can't wait until October and new episodes. And because I was up watching this and Talking Dead and chatting with everyone I am exhausted today. :)
So that's is for my update. We have a pretty normal regular week this week and then my friends come for a weekend of scrapbooking and I can't wait. I NEED me some girlie time.
Have a great week,
Jenny

TV Talk Tuesday
So who is ready for some TV Talk? I feel like I got behind last week with everything going on but after this weekend we need to do some talking. Shows are also coming back from hiatus and gearing up for their final pushes towards the season finales which always means lots of excitement and shocks.
As always there will be SPOILERS below so enter at your own risk.
Let's start with the big one this weekend and the Walking Dead. Oh my goodness while the episode was really a big setup for the finale next week it was still pretty good. Carol is still a badass even if she is losing her mind a bit. I feel bad for Maggie and I hope everything is ok with the baby. And let's not even get me started with that cliffhanger at the end. I do not think that Daryl is dead but he obviously got shot so hopefully its just a flesh wound of sorts. That does leave him open for what happens next week with Negan though. I'm just a little too excited for Negan to show up next week and while I won't go to much into it right now I think we are in for another cliffhanger which is really going to suck. LOL This show really just keeps getting better and better. If you are as addicted as I am the don't forget to check out Sonequa and Lauren on Lip Sync battle this week.
Next up is Supergirl. I loved this weeks episode and the crossover with the Flash. They had great chemistry and I loved seeing her interact with someone who is kindof like her. It also pushed along her relationship with James which was a little long overdue if you ask me. Myriad will be interesting to see how it plays out. I guess my biggest issue isn't even one with the show and its more with DC. I'm so used to Marvel and basically everyone living in the same world to then deal with DC where everyone lives in their own little bubble that it takes something special to happen for them to get together. I am wondering in the Legends can cross Earths like they can cross time. They then would be able to go to any show but I'm not sure if that is possible or not. Anyone read the comics and have more incite?
Oh my who watched the finale of Younger? This show is awesome and I'm sure it has nothing to do with me being her age. Although I can't even imagine going back and redoing life. I love where I am right now but I do love the premise of the show. It is however looking like it is coming to a head and I'm hoping that next season her secret is revealed at least to a few more people. If you haven't watched yet you really need to binge it. It is so fun and zany and fresh. Plus the guys don't hurt either ;)
Happy watching,
Jenny

Currently2016
Hi everyone!!! It is Monday again and I'm back linking up with Becky over at Choose Happy for her Currently post on a Monday morning.
Currently.....
Exhausted--- We went to Great Wolf Lodge near my mom's house on Friday and it was a long day. The boys loved it and M got to go with us this time which was great. It also meant I didn't have to go on all the slides which is just fine by me. Give me a roller coaster anyday but I do not love waterslides. Cs favorite is the wave pool and I'm right there with him. We all had fun but it makes for a tiring night.
Smiling--- At my two little men. They are so great and we had a lot of fun at grandma's house and having brunch at the Speedway Club and seeing the bunny. We somehow never made it out to see a bunny so glad he was still hanging around on Easter.
Walking--- with N. Since C is on spring break this week he is spending a couple extra days at grandma's house but N and I had to come home. Of course with the gorgeous weather we had to take a walk tonight and stop at our picture spot. He is a riot and I love having some alone time with him.
Excited--- for our trip to Disney. I get to talk Disney all the time with people while I'm helping plan their trips but I still get way too excited when it is my turn to go. Our magicbands for our next trip just came and I was lucky enough to get one of the new purple ones. I might be just a little to excited for it.
Shopping--- for stamping stuff. Stampin' Ups Sale-a-bration ends on the 31st and I'm working on my last order for this sale. I actually need some white cardstock so it is a perfect time to order and get some freebies. You can see my post in it over HERE.
Have a great week everyone.

Good Morning!!! I haven't been blogging much lately but I'm hoping to get back more into the swing of things and I don't know of a better way then linking up with Becky over at Choose Happy for her Currently post on a Monday morning.

Excited--- that I got to spend a fun weekend with my friend Michelle from 3 Monkey's Throwing Around some Paper hanging out, watching movies (Magic Mike XXL :)) and scrapping. We also made a trip to Nothing Bundt Cakes for some yummy desserts.
Loving--- Ns Spring picture. I think they came out great.
Sleeping--- in a new bed. Well N is sleeping in a new bed. He's been talking about wanting a loft bed and a friend was getting rid of theirs so we moved it into Ns room. He is in love with it and never bothers me trying to get me to let him sleep in my room anymore :) Definitely a win-win.
Smiling--- at Cs new shirt. I know I've posted before with him in his Ketchup shirt but he is quickly growing out of that one so when we were at Hanna Anderson the other day we saw this one and had to grab it. It is so stinkin' cute.
Planning--- On when I can go back to WDW. We are going in April but with the new summer discount and the option for the exclusive Magic Band I'm wanting to go back. I NEED a BB-8 magic band. You can see info on the new promotion in my post from the other day. WDW Summer Discount.
We have a busy week again with School activities and my birthday and Easter. I can't wait for all of it. Everyone have a great week and a Happy Easter.

TV Talk Tuesday
M was out of town last week so I've taken some time to catch up on some shows and try some new ones. As always there will be SPOILERS below so enter at your own risk.
Since I'm getting ready for the final tonight let's start with Pretty Little Liars. I was hesitant to watch this season with the time jump but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. With the first episode I was like WTH but it really sets us up for this season and while there is an "A" type person the girls are a little more Oh Hell No with their dealing with it. I am also liking the mix up of the couples since we all know not everyone in a group is going to stay with their high school LOVE so having some of them not together and with others makes perfect sense. I do think this show is best served by binge watch so glad I waited until now to watch all the episodes from this season.
Next up is Recovery Road. This is a show I don't is served by its title. I mean I get that the show is about her Recovery but its not all about that and the premise of getting her to the sober house is a bit hokey but once she is there and the people there are AWESOME. This show is totally addicting and I blew through all the episodes I had recorded and can't wait for a new one each week. Have any of your tried this show? Freeform is really pulling out some great guilty pleasure shows here recently.
Is anyone else watching Colony? I recorded this one since I like the dystopian worlds and the cast is phenomenal but I really had no true idea what it was about and I've watched about 6 episodes so far and let me say I still don't really know. LOL I'm hoping we get a bit of backstory in one of these episodes but here is what I get so far. Aliens have invaded the Earth kindof. They are not living on the earth but they took out all our defenses and put up walls around certain cities and homeland is keeping piece. Some how people got separated and many people got killed and I really want to see at least maybe in flashbacks the initial invasion. The people are threatened to be sent to "the factory" which I haven't really seen yet but it looks like it is on an alien spacecraft but we don't know what happens there. I do like the resistance and the who is behind it mystery so it keeps me watching. I think this week is the season finale so I have 3 episodes for them to give me some answers. I'm so confused.
So those are three of the shows that I've been binging. Do you watch any of them? Any other shows that you are currently binging and loving? My normal shows will be back from their hellatus soon so I'll be back on my regular shows but these were all good to fill in my downtime.
Happy Viewing,
Jenny

TV Talk Tuesday
Time to talk some more TV. I've been in a TV mood lately so I'm working through some shows. As always there will be SPOILERS below so enter at your own risk.
We NEED to start with the Walking Dead. Oh my gosh I really liked this weeks episode. It was a little more light hearted then the last couple and that ending oh my. I mean you could see it coming and can see how it could easily happen but I wasn't really expecting it yet. I am however all for Richonne. They make a great couple. Now lets talk about Jesus. I know he is from the comics so I've been told a bit about it and I think I like him. At least so far. Even though he is messing with our boys it seems to all be in fun and he had chances to really hurt them and doesn't so he could be good in my mind. Of course waking two naked people from their sleep was probably not the best idea and I can't wait to see what they do about that next week.
Saying Goodbye!!!
So this is a little different from my normal talk but I've been doing some Tivo cleaning and season pass cancelling and I'm on the fence about a couple shows.
So far I have deleted and cancelled the season pass for :
CSI:Cyber - I just couldn't get into this season
Colony - I never even started this one.
I've got episodes on the Tivo that I just haven't watched and am not sure I will:
ScreamQueens - I have 5 episodes left and I just don't know if I can watch them. The show really is horrible and I can't believe it was picked up for next season. I keep thinking I should just watch out the episodes but I'm leaning towards just deleting.
2 Broke Girls - I really liked the first couple of seasons but it is just stupid and bad now. I have a dozen episodes recorded and I really doubt I will watch them all.
Shows I haven't started yet but still kindof want to. Both of these look good and I want to watch but need time.
Mr. Robot - I still want to watch this one so it sits on the Tivo just waiting.
Zoo - This one is coming back this summer so I will try and watch before then.
So what about you? Any shows you've given up on this season already? Ones you wanted to start but just haven't gotten into? Thoughts on my list and a reason I need to keep and/or watch any of them?
Happy Viewing,
Jenny

Good Afternoon!!! I hope everyone is having a great start to the week. I will say today is really a Monday for me. I stayed up late watching the Disneyland special and then I just HAD to watch the Walking Dead so that meant I was up later then normal. I am dragging today but I am here to check in for my weekly post with Becky over at Choose Happy for her Currently.
Currently.....
Smiling--- at the jammies I found C on clearance at Target. He loves onesie jammies and these are great for around here. He gets so hot with the feet kind so hopefully these will be a bit better for him. Plus they are minions and who doesn't love minions.
Loving--- my little men. It was just us yesterday afternoon so we ran out to PDQ for lunch and they wanted a milkshake. They would share but said they HAD to have their own straws.
Ready--- for Ns basketball clinic to be over. He goes every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon and while it has been great and he has learned a lot poor C and I just have to hang out and make our own fun. He has been a real trooper but I'm pretty sure he is about done with me of course you can't tell by this happy boy picture from last week.
Excited--- I'm hosting an online Usborne party and my consultant posted this picture. It is so true and I love it. I love reading stories and getting lost in the world the author has created and I can be anything I want. I'm working on that with my boys and letting them really discover the world of books and where it can take you.
Ready--- for my next Disney trip. I was able to work on my Fastpass reservations this weekend and was able to get the coveted Anna & Elsa reservation and I'm totally making my boys go to see them. :) they can just deal with all the girlie stuff I make them do at Disney. LOL but I really think they like it and they can just use me as their excuse saying that their mommy needs to check out everything so they had to meet the princess, eat with the princess, ride the kiddie ride etc. Gotta love the mind of little boys.
I hope everyone has a great rest of the week!!!
Jenny
